The client is a prominent agrochemical manufacturer in India specializing in Imidacloprid, a highly effective systemic insecticide. The biological efficacy of Imidacloprid—specifically its rapid action and stability in formulations like Wettable Powders (WP) and Suspension Concentrates (SC)—is directly dependent on its particle size and specific surface area.
To maintain a competitive edge, the client required a solution for the ultra-fine grinding of imidacloprid to achieve sub-10μm fineness while maintaining a high industrial throughput.

After rigorous material testing, the client selected the Epic Powder Fluidized Bed Jet Mill. This system was chosen for its ability to handle heat-sensitive organic compounds without degrading the active ingredient.
